OMGosh! ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?! I tell you what, people like this goof ball Presbyterian minister are a total insult to all that I believe about my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. These so called ministers are being blinded by Satan himself just like the rest of the culture. They are completely oblivious to what real belief in Jesus Christ is all about. Shuck states that; “One learns and draws upon practices and products of our cultural tradition to create meaning in the present…” And there you have it folks. Look at today’s culture and how messed up it is with all the sinful same sex junk, baby killing, lgbtq idiots!
Well I’m sorry if this offends any of you but if it does; GET OVER IT CRYBABY! I’m sick and tired of my Jesus being made fun of and redone and stretched into what ever fits everyone’s situation. That’s not at all how it works. If you want to believe such demonic principles as this Shuck guy, well at least don’t relate yourself to the same Jesus as I do, the Jesus of the Bible. It’s absolutely maddening that people of this culture can rearrange things in the gospel to fit their particular fantasy at the time. Anyway you can read the rest of this story below. I gotta go PUKE!!!!
John Shuck is a Presbyterian minister—but he doesn’t believe in God and has the audacity to declare that “Jesus may have been an historical figure, but most of what we know about Him is in the form of legend” and “God is a symbol of myth-making and not credible as a supernatural being or force” and “the Bible is a human product as opposed to special revelation from a divine being” and “human consciousness is the result of natural selection, so there’s no afterlife.”
So, basically, this Presbyterian minister is an atheist. In fact, he made these declarations on The Friendly Atheist’s blog. Despite these beliefs he still describes himself as a “proud minister” and says he doesn’t appreciate “being told I’m not truly a Christian.”
Go ahead, read that again. Actually, I’ll summarize it for you: Shuck essentially denies the divinity of Christ, characterizes the Father as a myth-maker, repudiates the veracity of the Bible, denies any existence of an afterlife and gets offended when people suggest that maybe he needs to reclassify his faith—or lack thereof? Yes, that about sums it up. About the only thing he didn’t do was directly blaspheme the Holy Spirit.
